Broker's Comments

An Enterprise class wooden displacement motor yacht. Not designed to go fast, but to progress in stately, dignified elegance. Propulsion is by a pair of 35HP Perkins Perama diesels, driving shafts. Originally built in 1968, a previous owner acquired her in the 90's as a keel and hull and had her fitted out in English timber to a very high standard. Wood is everywhere, from cabin sole to the headlining, and from solid lockers to even the fridge door. Note the curved frames that support the wheelhouse roof; their shape, conferring intrinsic strength, lies in the natural curve of the original timber, not thorough any artificial bending process. Visibility from the large wheelhouse is excellent. There are two good-sized sleeping cabins fore and aft. Above the latter is a comfortable aft deck, with slatted wood seating and a demountable cockpit table. This is a boat in which nothing should be hurried. Enjoy the gentle ride.

Fully anti-fouled and repainted topsides June 2014. Owner fully serviced engines June 2014.
