Broker's Comments

The Dufour 35, produced from 1972 to 1982 in La Rochelle, France, is a wonderful blend of classic features and innovation, another feather in the cap of the iconic French designer Michel Dufour and can challenge even the beamiest modern yachts in terms of living space.

Unfortunately, the current owners had an altercation with a rock, for which they have an estimate for repairs amounting to just short of £14,000 including VAT. They have taken the decision to sell the boat as is on the basis this will allow buyers to either commission the work themselves or if gifted enough to carry out the repairs themselves.

A copy of the estimate is available on request.

These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.

Spent 14 years building wooden and fiber glass boats There must be considerable internal damages too as it does not cost £14,000 to simply repair a damaged hull There has been repeated requests for photos of all of the damage that have not been uploaded so the yacht will not be sold BEST TO HAVE A SURVEY DONE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE

Antony T2023-08-06 06:57:27

The damage is not really visible externally

Ian S2023-07-24 08:58:29

Can we have detailed pictures of the damage please??

Kevin G2023-07-18 11:37:45

It looks like damage is on the port side above the water line, but the glare on picture 10 obscures too much. I'd also like further photographs of damage, both external & internal!

Lez R2023-07-15 13:02:08

As said in other comment - really do need a photograph of the damage to even decide if interested.
