Broker's Comments
This 50ft Narrowboat was bought new in 1992 by the current owner and is in need of quite a lot of exterior and interior work to bring her back to her former glory. The owner has not been to the boat for 3 years due to poor health. The boat was sailed up to Glasson Basin Marina 6 months ago by the boatyard and has been sitting on the hard since. She had a hull survey 3 years ago and had some spot welding done and was epoxy coated by the boatyard at the same time.
The batteries were flat when I went but the boat yard tell me that the engine was running very well when they brought her to the marina.
The water is heated by a back boiler off the fire and also the engine. There is no fixed bed and the aft saloon makes up into a double.
The batteries were flat when I went to do the pictures but next time I am up there I will take my booster pack and start the engine.
