The most successful boat show for came to a close on the 24th September with some impressive statistics.’s online registration total reached 105,000 and 987 bottles of champagne were consumed during Fizz @ Five on the Boatshed stand by some of the 117,000 visitors to the show.’s very eye-catching figure…..

After a rather successful party celebrating Boatshed’s new surroundings in Endeavour Quay and the first franchise opening in the USA, it would be entirely forgivable for Neil and Mandy Chapman, founders of to be looking slightly the worse for wear. However it is 10am on the morning after – and instead of bleary eyes and that slightly creased forehead you get after a late night, they both have grins on their faces…..

Our trip sailing to the Isle of Wight found sitting on the top deck of a double Decker bus bouncing our way down the windy roads from Yarmouth to Newport, to visit the Maritime museum. A day out on land to get away from Westerly force 6-7 hindering our progress to Guernsey.
