Broker's Comments
A rare example of a 1940s police launch, one of only eight made. This particular boat escorted the Havengore as she carried Winston Churchill's coffin down the Thames.
The vessel is propelled by a powerful 60hp Mermaid engine, now only required to gently glide the craft smoothly along the upper Thames.
An open centre cockpit provides a comfortable area to watch the scenery slip past, with accomodation to sleep four and a galley to prepare tea and light meals.
The boat has been maintained by the local boatbuilder and is presented in remarkably good condition. However, she needs to get more use, hence the current owner is reluctantly putting her up for sale.
