Broker's Comments
A rare example of a 1940s police launch, one of only eight made. This particular boat escorted the Havengore as she carried Winston Churchill's coffin down the Thames.
The vessel is propelled by a powerful 60hp Mermaid engine, now only required to gently glide the craft smoothly along the Thames.
An open centre cockpit provides a comfortable area to watch the scenery slip past, with accommodation to sleep four and a galley to prepare tea and light meals.
The boat has been maintained by the local boatbuilder and is presented in remarkably good condition.
