Broker's Comments
This marque is known for its spaciousness and robust construction.
The engines are two 75hp Volvo Pentas, which signals its life pootling on canals and inland waterways. The current owner brought it down to the south coast from Bingley and set about reconditioning the engine and outdrives.
Two new propellers were fitted and oil seals replaced, plus hull polishing and antifouling. The sprayhood/cockpit cover looks in excellent condition.
The coachroof was replaced and the interior smartened up. The electric wiring is being updated.
In June 2021, the boat was surveyed for insurance purposes. No osmosis was detected throughout the underwater section of the hull, nor delamination or distortion. This is excellent news for a boat of this age but it did highlight other areas which the owner promptly addressed, notably improvements to the electrics and replacing the propellors.
Various cosmetic improvements to the cockpit are also underway.
This Princess 32 is well-equipped for comfortable cruising or living aboard. It is not as cheap as some you will see but it is reassuring that the hull, keel and engines have been professionally checked and serviced.
It is great to see new life breathed into a decades old boat that we hope will give years of pleasure to its next owners.
This boat may suit residential accommodation, but cannot be used as such at her current location.
