Broker's Comments

Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to offer a truly amazing and pretty much immaculate example of the very spacious Aquafibre 1070.

This is the same moulding as the Broom 1070 I believe, and this boat was built for a private commission by Moores of Wroxham so she has always been a private boat which clearly shows the moment you step aboard.

She has had 4 owners and the current owner has cherished her for the last 18 years. She has been very lightly used by the current owner as a roomy dayboat and we have been advised that she typically goes out for about half a dozen days each year, so not heavily used at all. This can be seen in her clean and tidy condition and almost totally unmarked state. The current owner has never spent a night aboard in that time! All the upholstery is pristine, as is almost everything on the boat.

This is a rare and spacious boat with a full island aft master cabin with large en-suite shower and heads compartment and beautifully fitted wood joinery and storage.

Moving forward you will find the large open plan saloon with a "U" shaped sofa that converts to a large double. The curved staircase also leads up to the flybridge. The lower helm is to port and is very comfortable and exceptionally well laid out and fitted. The forward cabin can convert to a large double and all the infills are with the boat.

Large windows with a mix of quality curtains and blinds offer good privacy or amazing views out over the Broads. The saloon also boasts great joinery and storage options and is all almost as new in every respect. This boat is almost impossible to fault (which is very rare).

She has diesel warm air heating and both bow and stern thrusters so is an absolute charm to manoeuvre in any situation. The electric windlass helps with anchoring up too.

The galley-down layout to starboard is compact yet well fitted with separate Smev oven and 4 ring hob. There is a large fridge and plenty of work space and storage. Opposite is the forward heads and shower compartment which, as per everything else on the boat is immaculate, clean and tidy.

The under floor areas are spotless and well laid out and the engine has twin alternators for increased charging capability and starts and runs as it should. She was serviced in June 2024 and has been lifted and cleaned underneath every year at a local boat yard. She is copper coated underneath which is a great advantage.

The Flybridge is all very tidy and flexible with seating for 5-7 and has a new in 2023 Jeckells canopy. This was designed so a a further aft extension could be added at a later date to fully enclose the whole flybridge.

Her Broads toll is paid up to the end of March 2025 and her Boat Safety Certificate runs to May 2027.

She has shore power fitted and a folding radar arch and screen to assist with bridges. She also has twin bathing platforms and a ladder from the flybridge to access these, plus a set of stainless steel extending davits. All in all this is an exceptional vessel with a great low-use private pedigree from new and is almost impossible to find any fault with. Even the hull where knocks and scrapes usually occur seems to my eyes to be unmarked. This quality of boat just does not come up very often and will impress, not just please, any owner.

This is, to me, the stand out boat of her type that you just wont find again.

If the boat sells at asking price then a full tailored all over winter cover is available in the sale, otherwise by separate negotiation.
