Broker's Comments
Here I am pleased to offer for sale a very tidy example for the ever popular and spacious Bourne 35 river cruiser. She has a current Boat safety certificate which runs to October 2023.
This particular example of this large and well equipped cruiser benefits from two fully self contained sleeping cabins at opposite ends of the boat. The forward cabin also benefits from a fully equipped en-suite heads and shower compartment.
Both of the heads and shower compartments on the boat have recently been fully relined to a very high standard and are both bright and airy with a modern and contemporary look and feel.
The large forward cabin has a twin Vee berth layout that converts to a good sized double, plus has the added benefit of an en- suite heads and shower compartment. This is fitted with a full sized manual pump out toilet to its own separate holding tank, wash basin and full shower offering huge versatility for two couples or a larger family to go cruising the rivers in comfort and privacy. Diesel fired Eberspacher warm air heating is fitted to the boat making her an all year cruiser.
The large saloon / cockpit has a winch operated full sliding roof and this can be lowered to give the full alfresco dining experience or just be in the open on long hot summer days, as well as give clearance under bridges.
The saloon has a long comfortable settee that also converts to a further large double bunk, approx king size! Or can be used as a single. Stereo, TV with DVD player all included and fitted to the saloon. The helm station is on the port side of the saloon and offers a relaxed and comfortable driving position.
With the roof down and the screens folded the boat is designed to pass most of the broadland bridges ( please check specifically for the lowest bridges) A set of safe and wide access steps also take you up to the deck level from the saloon with the roof opened a little to give quick and secure access to the deck for mooring up etc. This also means that you can exit the boat without going through the aft cabin exit door, offering very fast access to the deck.
The large well appointed galley has been upgraded with Waeco fridge and considerable storage options and cupboards / lockers finished in contemporary silver grey which very much enhances the more modern feel of this boat. The galley is spacious and very well laid out to allow catering for longer cruises and is a very nice space within the boat.
Off of the galley is the second heads and shower compartment relined to match the forward cabin heads and is equally as charming and nice to use. However this heads is a good bit larger. This aft heads has its full size pump out toilet go to its own holding tank.
The large aft cabin is full width and offers a large double with a good selection of chests and storage, and direct access to the small aft well and exit from the boat.
Headlinings are all excellent and the boat has clearly been loved by her previous owners.
The BMC 1.5 engine appears to run nicely and the engine bay is clean and tidy with all service items falling readily to hand though the saloon floor access hatch.
This boat would make a wonderful family river cruiser to explore and enjoy the Norfolk broads.
