Broker's Comments
This boat defines the word classic. It is not simply the age of the boat but it is the fact that we know everything anyone could want to know about her as a result of the owner’s research. We have original specifications from 1929, the original entry from the builders accounts records and a list of owners since new.
So what about the boat itself? A 1929 open launch originally built as a yacht tender. The boat is as original now as the day it left the yard. The current owner is still in the process of preparing the boat for the season, and our photographs show this.
This boat will continue to turn heads whether it remains cruising the Norfolk Broads or finds a new home on the Thames, either way it offers a real slice of boating history for its new owners.
The boat now has a full BSS Certificate.
