Where to start with a such a rare and beautiful boat?
***UPDATE***
(The Fridge has now been re fitted and is working). Boat is now in the water and re commissioned, and has a new fuel tank fitted and a fresh Boat safety certificate for 4 years!
This wonderful Carrington 27 is a 1973 model and has been owned by her current owner since 2005. She has been stored ashore at the vendor's home since 2014 and is very, very well presented and looks stunning in every sense of the term.
She is all gelcoat and has very few marks on her hull to show for her life afloat. She has a folding screen so can clear all the broadland bridges. The cockpit is a beautiful place to spend time on the river and has immaculate seating and woodwork that is a credit to the boat's age.
Her interior is plush and well fitted and trimmed and a credit to the owner and shows the love that this boat has been given in this owner's long care. She has good condition wood with only one tiny area of damage and even this is purely cosmetic. She has a nice galley layout and comfortable seating plus a good sized toilet and shower compartment. This is one of the nicest Carrington Seamasters I have seen for a good while and she just glows inside and out.
As will be seen in the videos, the boat was ashore at the vendor's home. However, following my visit to the vessel to list her for sale, the vendor has now decided to have her moved to Stalham and has had her fully recommissioned for the new owner and put her back into service after her 8 years ashore. This has been done professionally by the boat yard so she is ready to use straight away and will not need to be re commissioned by the new owner.
She has a quality canopy that appears to be in excellent condition. The list of new items on the boat is extensive and includes: new water tank, new fuel tank, new and un used warm air gas heating system and 2 new batteries. The vendor has placed a new Boat Safety Certificate for 4 years on her for the new owner so you can benefit from the maximum validity of the new certificate and rest assured that she has just been re inspected.
Her engine appears immaculate and tidy as is her under deck areas and she is cosy and dry. This boat represents a rare opportunity to acquire a well above average example of these well loved and well respected boats, that have a great following and active club scene. With the comfort and peace of mind of her having just been placed back into service by a respected boat yard, she will be sure to delight her new owner.
These boat details are subject to contract.
