Swallows and Amazons anyone?
A delightfull 18ft Sloop built in 1946 by Brooke Marine as their show boat for the Southampton boatshow ( I beleive the 1st show after the war was in fact boats and cars!)
She still has many original fittings, she has had much work done in 2011 to bring up the the condition she is today- delighful.
Simple 2 berth accomodation with small galley area and porta loo.
Fitted with a rebuilt Stuart Turner inboard engine (Brian Greenwood of Stalham) , mainsail and foresail she is ready to go.
With her spirit stove and parifin lamp, her varnished woodwork, brass portholes, she really is a delightful peice of history, a very practical useable classic.
She has a boat safety certificate valid untill 2015 and a broads licence untill 2013.
