Broker's Comments
This is an ex hire boat that has stood out of the water for over 2 years. As a result I feel we can safely assume she will need new batteries not to mention a lot of hard work cleaning her up.
She is a project and hopefully the price reflects this.
On the plus side she has had a new Webasto heating system fitted 2 years ago which is virtually unused at a cost of £3500.00.
The dry interior and upholstery are all in good order under all the dust and there is a good quality heads and shower installation.
There is a good canopy included which has been stored separately.
I tested the morse controls and steering etc which are all free.
The prop is driven via a shaft through a hydraulic drive gearbox which allows far more useable space in the cockpit than most Eastwood 24's as the engine is mounted further aft.
The marina owner has said that the boat can stay on the hard standing until September at no cost and that he will launch the boat at no cost whenever the new owner is ready.
This boat requires 90% of the new owners effort in cleaning alone.
