Broker's Comments
Here we have a very tidy example of the ever popular Freeman 23.
This particular boat is very well presented in original gelcoat and appears to be in a very tidy condition. She has been fully compounded and polished and as can be seen has a mirror finish and gleams. Her rubbing strakes have all been freshly varnished and look great , and she has been freshly antifouled for the new season.
The previous owner of some 9 years looked after her very well. The current owner who bought the boat from me last year has continued that theme of care and has spared no expense on her improving and maintaining her over the winter. She also has had new solar fans fitted. She also has a 1kv inverter fitted and a fully pressurised hot water system.
The boat has been ashore for the winter and prepared for the coming season. However, a change of plans for the vendor mean she will not get used. So it is with a heavy heart that she is now up for sale.
She is up for sale in very clean and tidy order indeed.
She has a current Boat Safety Certificate to Nov 2024. The boat still has its "spitfire" throttle and gear lever and a very tidy Jeckells canopy. I could not find any damage to the upholstery inside or out and the woodwork appears to be in excellent condition. The boat is a very, very good example of this popular type and is sure to sell quickly.
