Broker's Comments
This gentlemans cruiser has been lovingly cared fore by the same owner for over 24 years. She was originally a harbour launch in service on Barton Broad during world war 2. She was later converted by Neatishead Boatyard into a beautifull gentlemans cruiser in the late 1940's. She has had much work done to her by Martham boatyard including new sides and various planking. Her BMC Vedette engine was re built some 4 years ago and her cockpit canopy was replaced at the same time. The hull has been re painted this year and some window renevation has also been completed.
This is a beautifull period vessel which is an absolute credit to its loving owner of 24 years, she now needs a new home, someone whon will continue to keep and preserve her for the future.
She is afloat and ready to cruise but will obviously need the care and financial commitment to keep her in fine condition in the future. If you love wooden boats, and lets face it who doesnt, if you like varnishing and have the time and comittment for tradition this is the boat for you!
