Broker's Comments

Here we have a classic wooden cruiser recently back to the broads from a spell on the river Thames.
The Martham boats Juliet Class boats are a 39 foot classic wooden broads cruiser deign, and Juliet is a ex hire Marham boats vessel from the heyday of broads boating. Built in 1953 she has a stepped deck and a fully folding centre cockpit to allow bridge clearance. She has a forward galley in the bow of the boat that is well thought out and has all you need. Gas cooker oven and grill and separate hob, butler sink and plenty of work top and cupboard space make this a very functional area. the mail saloon is cozy and comfortable and the curved sofa looks like it converts to a double berth. There is a single sofa opposite . aft of the saloon is a solid fuel stove with an external chimney extension that can pass through the cockpit roof when in use. The raised cockpit is a spacious area that can fold down to clear bridges and be open on nice days. The BMC diesel engine is under the cockpit floor and was serviced this year. It started readily and appeared to run well. Aft is a single berth to port, currently used as a storage area. Opposite that is a large heads and shower room with toilet to holding tank. Aft is the master double bedroom with storage and hanging space. She is also fitted with webasto warm air heating and shore power and a small solar panel to keep the batteries topped up. Her broads toll is paid and her mooring in Martham could be available to the new owner. She has a boast safety certificate to 2027 date to be confirmed
