Broker's Comments
Every now and then you get to list a boat that really, genuinely deserves the description of stunning or exceptional. This amazing Sealine 310 Ambassador is very much in that small elite club, and clearly exhibits the care she has enjoyed from her owners.
The current owner (of some 7 years) has genuinely loved and cared for this boat and it can be seen from every angle. All the GRP is polished and gleaming and incredibly almost unmarked both inside and out. I found one small 2cm scratch on the outside hull and a couple of small chips under the nose where the anchor stows. The boat has been constantly upgraded and has obviously been lavished with constant care and careful ownership. The engines and drives have been regularly serviced by local professional Volvo Penta engineers and are fully serviced and ready for the coming season. The antifouling has just been done and she has been carefully polished inside and out, and is gleaming.
She benefits from a bow thruster, warm air heating, 4 batteries, new cooker, electric anchor windlass, davits, lazarette locker, and a vary spacious saloon that converts to a large comfortable double.
The upholstery in the saloon and cockpit has all been replaced at some stage and appears to be unmarked and undamaged. The boat is coming with almost all the kit that remains on her including the dehumidifier etc.
Her electronics package includes: chartplotter, fish finder, radar, autopilot and the list just keeps on going. She has everything the serious cruiser could want from what is a very capable boat.
The canopy is well fitting and again does not appear to be that old and seems to be in very good and attractive order. The large bathing platform has a gated door to make access to he cockpit easier and she boasts a hot and cold bathing platform shower and demountable stainless steel davits.
The flexible cockpit seating can seat 10 and can also be removed to make a large space and fantastic engine bay access, so offers excellent flexibility.
She has a new boat safety certificate that has is valid for several years to come.
The owner has clearly spent more time improving, looking after and cleaning and maintaining this lovely example of one of Sealine’s best sub 40 foot sports cruisers than using her doing aprox 300 hours in his ownership. Estimated hours are about 900.
Of course no boat is 100% perfect and this is no exception. However, she is very much one of the closest I have seen in a long time. The only item that I can find fault with is the aft cabin headlining is sagging in places (which is common to the type) and a pretty easy fix if so minded, but does not overly detract from this very exceptional example of the type.
These are super capable boats that handle seas well and are a breeze to manoeuvre and handle offering a thrilling and rewarding ownership experience. She has the smaller 4 cylinder Volvos that are frugal to run yet can still deliver exhilarating performance to about 23kts.
I have cruised in company with a Sealine 310 for many years, and they do not disappoint.
If you are looking for a very straight forward, well equipped and tidy example of the Sealne 310 diesel, then this boat is presented ready for the coming season so look no further
