Broker's Comments
Boatshed Norfolk (www.Norfolkboatshed.com) are pleased to be able to offer this 1989 Sheerline 740 soft top river cruiser.
This example appears to be in very tidy order and has been little used in the last year. She has gelcoat topsides and a painted hull which is very well done - I described it as a "Gelcoat hull" in my video which the vendor has subsequently advised is not the case.
She has a well-running and tidy Nanni Diesel 4110 HE which starts well and runs very cleanly and is a very, very frugal motor. Her cockpit is trimmed in white and all the seats look to be in very good order with no noticeable tears that I could see. The aft bench offers step-through access to the rear and wrap-around corner seats with curved back rests which is the perfect touch for these wonderful boats.
This was originally a private boat to my knowledge which then entered service as "Moon Haze" at Belaugh Boats for a number of years before returning to private ownership. I actually used to hire this very boat from Belaugh Boats each year, and in those days it was (and still will be) a fab vessel to tour the Broads. This boat made me want my own boat and I have a very fond spot for her.
Her interior is well appointed and her upholstery looks to be in pretty good order throughout in a pleasant oatmeal fabric which works nicely with the matching curtains and trim. She has a good sized heads and shower compartment, a dinette that converts to a large single and the forward berths can be curtained off fully from the mid section. Her galley to Starboard is well equipped with fridge, basin and 4 burner hob and a concealed microwave. She has shore power fitted and warm air heating and is just a delight. Being the soft top she can clear all Broads bridges at just 6.2 ft with it all down.
Her Boat Safety Certificate runs to March 2026 and her mooring may be available by agreement with the marina.
This is a wonderful boat that has worn her years very well and will be a delight to her new owner and offers great space and style with all the features that you could need.
