Broker's Comments
"A comfortable, luxury appointed, superbly built and impeccably finished. It will glide effortlessly while cruising but "get a move on" if necessary. A truly unashamedly luxury model for those who demand nothing but the best"..................Is how she was described by the builders in 1963 !
However today , I would say...."A classic wooden built day launch in need of a loving owner to bring her back to her former glory".
As the pictures show she is basically sound other than the foredeck having suffered a rather cruel winter resulting in ice forming and raising the port side of the foredeck in places.
The rest of the boat looks very good and other than sanding and varnishing there should not be any major surprises.
Mechanically the engine has been regularly serviced by a reputable boatyard and she was fully refurbished in 2008.
She was last out of the water in winter 2008/9.
A beautiful boat with a full sliding roof and a rear "Bimini" though the canvass is rotten.
A very rewarding and profitable proposition for a boatyard or competent DIY enthusiast.
